How much does a website cost?
It depends on what you need. A simple brochure website typically starts from around £1,500 to £2,500. More complex sites with custom design, advanced functionality, or larger amounts of content will cost more - and eCommerce sites have their own considerations. We'll always scope your project properly and give you a clear, fixed quote before any work begins. If your budget is tight, we can help you prioritise what's essential now and plan for future additions.
How long does a typical website project take?
Most websites take between 4 and 8 weeks from kick-off to launch. Simpler projects can be quicker; more complex builds take longer. The biggest variable is usually content and feedback - projects move fastest when you're able to provide text, images, and timely sign-offs. We'll give you a realistic timeline upfront and keep you informed throughout. If you have a hard deadline, let us know and we'll tell you honestly whether it's achievable.
Do you work with clients outside of Devon?
Yes. While we're based in Devon, we work with businesses across the UK. Most website projects are managed entirely through video calls, email, and collaborative tools - location rarely affects how smoothly things run. We've delivered successful projects for clients we've never met face-to-face. If you'd prefer an in-person meeting at any point, we're happy to arrange that too.
Will I be able to update the website myself?
Absolutely - that's the goal. We build on content management systems like WordPress and Shopify specifically so you can make updates without needing a developer. Before we hand over your site, we can provide training and documentation so you feel confident editing text, adding images, and publishing new pages. And if you ever get stuck or want us to handle updates for you, we offer ongoing support packages to help.
